Culture Shock

When I was looking for Romeo and Juliet in modern pieces of work I found a band called Dire Straits and their song called Romeo And Juliet. It interprets Romeos attraction for Juliet
A love-struck Romeo sings the streets a serenade
Laying everybody low with a love song that he made.
Finds a streetlight, steps out of the shade
Says something like, "You and me babe, how about it?"
Juliet's feelings were shown for Romeo in the next quote:

Juliet says, "Hey, it's Romeo, you nearly gave me a heart attack!"
He's underneath the window, she's singing, "Hey la, my boyfriend's back.
You shouldn't come around here singing up to people like that...
Anyway, what you gonna do about it?"
There is also foreshadowing in the song about their death saying how they

"I love you like the stars above, I'll love you 'til I die"
This song shows the optimism for the two lovers and how they will love each other forever.
